2017 Thiruvallikeni Parthasarathy Perumal Vaikunta Ekadesi Paramapadha Vasal Dharisanam
Today (08 January 2017) The Vaikunta Ekadasi festival is an grand occasion for devotees of Lord Narayana when the Paramapada vaasal (Sorga Vasal) is opened for devotees. The first 10 days celebrated as "Pagal Pathu utsavam" and the later 10 days starting from Vaikunda Ekadasi are celebrated as “Iraa pathu utsavam”.
This morning around 04:00am Our Lord Sri Parthasarathy perumal had purappadu inside the temple. Namzhawar with Thousands of devotees awaiting on the other side of the vasal for Our lord.
