Sri Varadharajar Theppam Purappadu on 24th Feb 2015. Sri Gajendra Varadhar Satuppadi... one of the most beautiful from our Parthasarathy Perumal temple.  

மீன அமர் பொய்கை நாள்மலர் கொய்வான்

வேட்கையினோடு சென்று இழிந்த ,
கான் அமர் வேழம் கையெடுத்து அலற,
கரா அதன் காலினைக் கதுவ,
ஆணையின் துயரம் தீரப் புள் ஊர்ந்து
சென்று நின்று ஆழி தொட்டானை,
தென் அமர் சோலை மாட மா மயிலைத்
திருவல்லிக் கேணிக் கண்டேனே

Yoga Narasimhar Theppam Purappadu - 21 Feb 2015

Adiyen, Due to Balayam in our Parthasarathy Perumal Temple, there will not be any big utsavams except Swathi nakshatra purappdu for Narasimhar, Hastham for Sri Varadharaja Perumal and a satrumurai purappdu. 

I had an opportunity to have a wonderful dharshan of our Azhagiya Singar and his Theppotsavam Periya Veedhi Purappadu.. The pictures and the video are attached below..

Parthasarathy Perumal Float Festival (Theppothsavam) 2014

Kairavini Pushkarani is the name of the   Parthasarathy Perumal tank. Kairavini means the pond of Lily. The yearly float festival (Theppothsavam) will be held for 7 days on this tank. 

On First three days Sri Parthasarathy Perumal seats on a floating structure made of drums,wood and ornamented with lights. The next four days were dedicated to our Sri Narasimha Swamy(Thelma Singar), Sri Varadharaja Perumal, Sri Ranganathar and Sri Ramar.
